The E-mail Campaign Manager 2.1 rev.140214 (Update-3) is released.

SPEAK v1.0.0 rev.140131 is released.

Tested with Sitecore CMS Sitecore 6.6.0 rev. 130529, Sitecore 7.0 rev. 131127, and Sitecore 7.1 rev.140130.

Performance and Dispatch issues:

Appropriate language versions of the message weren’t delivered to subscribers with preferred language set in profiles. This has been fixed (357001).
HTML message with empty <a href=’’’’> link could not be sent. This has been fixed (364777).
Standard messages were sometimes sent incorrectly when using a multi-thread dispatch. This has been fixed (377146).
A SQL exception appeared during the dispatch of messages with long external URLs. This has been fixed (388570).
Internal links were processed incorrectly when alwaysIncludeServerUrl="true" on a scaled CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (394265).
Using the Activate/Deactivate message functionality led to wrong protection state. This has been fixed (394334).
Custom person tokens lost their values when sending a message using one task. This has been fixed (394585).
The SendStandardMessage method queued a message even when the "No Send" option was active. This has been fixed (394595).
Links with single quote after 'href' were not changed after the dispatch. This has been fixed (395124).
There was a performance decrease related to the Email Preview or Spam Check services. This has been fixed (395464).
Email Campaign Manager stopped dispatching when trying to remove some recipients in process of dispatch. This has been fixed (397306).
An A/B testing with automatically selected winner did not move message to the Sent state. This has been fixed (397960).
Recycling an Application Pool could lead to sending incorrect newsletters. This has been fixed (373686).
There was a UI performance decrease in ECM 2.1 comparing to ECM 2.0. This has been fixed (390716).

Message and configuration issues:

The Unsubscribe and Unsubscribe All links redirect to the language version of a page incorrectly in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (399942).
The Language field version transferred incorrectly in the subscription confirmation and subscription notification emails in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (399870).
The Subscription Confirmation message did not respect language versions of the Display Name field in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (399943).
In a CD environment, external links to online version of the message didn't work. This has been fixed (373412).
The “ECMClientService.asmx” web service in a CD/CM environment might work incorrectly due to the wrong AuthenticationHeader value. This has been fixed (379296).
There was an exception on the Subscribe.html page after it was opened in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (404250).
There was an exception in the log file after clicking the Subscribe button in the Subscription Form in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (404306).
Custom token value might not display in Preview mode. This has been fixed (388944).
Email Campaign Manager 2.1 could not be used with Design Importer 2.0 on CMS 7. This has been fixed (389459).
The UI was locked when opening the Create message dialog with a lot of templates. This has been fixed (389881).
It was impossible to subscribe a regular existing user when the ECM service was configured in a CD/CM environment. This has been fixed (390179).
An extra dialog appeared for removing a Recipient List. This has been fixed (386946).
The Email Preview and Spam Check tabs stopped working after recipient list was deleted. This has been fixed (391097).
An error appeared after building a Recipient List with punctuation marks in the name. This has been fixed (391741).
Searching a newly created list in Recipient lists returned nothing. This has been fixed (387457).
The Preview tab for recipients didn't display the full list of recipients. This has been fixed (396793).
Opt-out list view didn't show unsubscribed users correctly. This has been fixed (396660).
Design was broken on the Recipient List step when exporting to a CSV file. This has been fixed (397593).
An external link in a test message led to the Sitecore "Document Not Found" page. This has been fixed (391656).
The Remove Attachment button was not disabled even when there were no files selected. This has been fixed (391487).
The Processing Started and Processing Completed fields in the Message preview tab for sent letter showed wrong date when the appropriate campaign was re-deployed. This has been fixed (391830).
Input fields in the Sender Details section did not contain entered values. This has been fixed (392343).
Links inserted into a text field in the Newsletter Message were associated with the Web database for Email Campaign Manager. This has been fixed (392389).
There were two scrolls in the Select Triggered message dialog if there were a lot of triggered messages with long names. This has been fixed (395050).
An extra dialog appeared when the user tried to cancel email scheduling. This has been fixed (396801).
Not all of the subscription messages were shown in the Subscription Message window. This has been fixed (396844).
The user was not able to edit the Edit Email Audience action in the Engagement Plans. This has been fixed (397619).
Alternative text didn’t show after dispatching in mobile version emails. This has been fixed (397629).
The From address and From name fields did not respect the message language. This has been fixed (397928).
In Internet Explorer 10, there was an exception when a long URL was opened from the message body. This has been fixed (401531).
Duplicating a message with name "<div" changed the markup of the Email Campaign Manager UI. This has been fixed (401573).
Browser confirmation dialog about leaving the page appeared when the user deactivated a triggered message. This has been fixed ( 402776).
The Javascript error occured when inserting an image in a message. This has been fixed (397408).

Reports related issues:

The Message Performance per language report didn't show information after the dispatch. This has been fixed (403310).
The Message Performance report showed an incorrect date range. This has been fixed (403449).
The Message Performance report didn't show data for the dispatch date. This has been fixed (403450).
Email reports could show wrong statistics. This has been fixed (397534).
There was no information in the Unsubscribed details report about the unsubscribed recipients. This has been fixed (403315).

Other resolved issues:

There was a Javascript error in Internet Explorer 10 after closing the Message Body Editor without saving changes. This has been fixed (401509).
An exception was thrown during the users import if the RequiresUniqueEmail setting was set to true in the web.config. This has been fixed (356898).
There were some conflicts in dll file in the CRM package and Email Campaign Manager package. This has been fixed (390502).
An exception appeared when building a new list with a specific message name. This has been fixed (394844).
Wrong Data Source for the “One time” and “Triggered” message Task Pages. This has been fixed (395321).
The ECM user was redirected to the login page when adding a recipient to the list with an email containing reserved characters. This has been fixed (397614).
Speak UI did not work when e-mails were used as user names. This has been fixed (393203).
Campaigns were not created under the Campaign Category specified in the Email Campaign Manager UI. This has been fixed (394006).

ECM would send duplicate messages in case when dispatch started in multiple threads. This has been fixed (392738).
Online version link redirected user to wrong page during A/B testing. This has been fixed (393334).

A message was not moved to the Unsubscribe state on CM/CD environment. This has been fixed (393055).

Message configuration issues:

Time zone was reset to default while scheduling a message delivery. This has been fixed (390360).

Tokens were not replaced in message’s subject after refreshing a page. This has been fixed (391473).
No search results were displayed when searching in the Recipient Lists. This has been fixed (387457).
It was impossible to edit Send Email Campaign Message action in Engagement Plan. This has been fixed (391484).

Reports related issues:

An issue in displaying Email Channel Performance report on general page has been fixed (393020).
Page Bounce value was calculated incorrectly. This has been fixed (391958).
An error message was displayed instead of Message Performance report in IE browser. This has been fixed (393023).
The Spam Check report was displayed without any text comment. This has been fixed (393864).
Incorrect value would be displayed in sent progress bar when message was moved to the Select Winner status. This has been fixed. (394723).

Other resolved issues:

Some warning messages weren’t translated to German language. This has been fixed (391945).
Incorrect information was displayed in the Test Connection dialog while connecting to the Sitecore App Center. This has been fixed (391515).
Uninformative message appeared in the logs while connecting to the App Center. This has been fixed (392971).

2. Known issues

This page contains the known issues that were found in ECM 2.1.

When two different email landing pages have the same engagement value, the winner badge is assigned to different landing paged in the email landing pages performance report compared with the smart panel that shows up after clicking on that same row. (381924)
When viewing the A/B test results on the dispatch tab the user will always see at the first column the subject of the default language, while all other columns are filtered to the selected language. (385066)
When Recipient list is deleted, user may be redirected to the General tab. (386351)
Note: This known issue was fixed in ECM 2.1 rev.131007.
Unexpected phrase "(__Thu..." on General tab in TEMPLATE section may appears when user with Japanese client language logged in. (388081)
Unexpected errors may appear when user closes the warning message that the layout is not set for selected device. (387369)
Note: This known issue was fixed in ECM 2.1 rev.130731.
Incorrect Recipient List name displayed and the list ID is displayed instead, if the user chose to use a list from an existing list, and that list was created with another message with a different content language. (388253)
ECM 2 does not support the Danish language. (385938)
ECM 2.1 cannot be used with Design Importer 2.0 on CMS 7. (389459)
Workaround:
Design Importer 1.0 can be installed on Sitecore 7 and used with ECM 2.1.

Language Switcher adds an extra tick beside the non-translated variant of the message. (386233)
Information about failed Spam check results may not display when client is selected. (390952)
Best Email Landing Pages and Email Landing Pages Performance Reports may contain incorrect value in Page Bounce column. (391958)

Error message "The default target language is missing because it was moved or deleted" is not translated to German and Japanese. (391945)

Email Preview and Spam Check tabs won’t be working after recipient list was deleted. (391097)
Note: This known issue was fixed in ECM 2.1 rev.140214.
If ECM has not been configured correctly (if the value of the Analytics.DefaultDefinitionDatabase setting is different from master and the analytics definition items (campaign, engagement plan) should be published immediately after the dispatch is started), there may be an error in log when user unsubscribes from the recipient list:
ERROR Some of the automation states could not be written to the database, probably because of expired lock.
If multiple messages for different emails (but single ECM campaign) are opened and clicked in the same browser, ECM will maintain only the last recipient behavior. The earliest recipient behavior that was opened from the same browser, will be deleted as soon as the other recipient visited a link from the email message. (389353)
Email Campaign Manager is not compatible with the Safari browser. ECM features that require Microsoft Silverlight may not work correctly in Safari. (420288)
